+ His job
+ Pizza
+ Bowling
+ Drinking
+ Talking to House when he is not being too annoying
Dislikes:
Telling people they are going to die
- The fact that House isn't strong enough to watch him eat without eating as well (usually his food)
- Being House's tool
- Not being able to stop House from making insane stuff
- The fact that House always tries to stick his nose in his personal life
Talents:
+ He is good at his job
+ Loyal to his friends
+ The only one who can actually make House see reason (sometimes)
Weaknesses:
Constantly breaking marriages
- Talks with just too many women, which makes House think he is always cheating on his current wife
- Sometimes he isn't able to stop House from doing crazy things
- Can be pretty annoying when it comes of ethical guidelines
Anything Else?: Nope!
Appearance: (At least 200 words)
Personality:
Most people who work at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital know or have heard about oncologist James Wilson. He is known mostly for being House's conscience. Being a man who strongly attaches himself to ethics and guidelines, and, even if it seemed impossible for someone like him, being House's best friend, Wilson feels like is his responsibility to stop him from doing things that might be too insane or unethical. Of course, Wilson fails doing it most of the time, since it is pretty difficult to contradict someone as stubborn as House.
Being an oncologist, Wilson is forced to deal with death everyday. At first it was really bad, but as time went by, he started to 'get used to it'. The fact that he can tell people they are going to die because of some kind of cancer actually never gets easier, but Wilson has gained experience and maturity to deal with that reality, and, as House once said, Wilson is a man who gets people to say "Thank You" when he tells him they are dying.
Wilson is a deeply loyal friend, and he shows that by always sticking to House's side. Except when being at his side implies doing things that are way too insane or ridiculously unethical. Wilson also has the need to make everyone around him be relatively happy, so he tends to act like a shrink sometimes. This feature explains why Wilson has such a great history of broken marriages. According to House, Wilson only gets to know people who have been damaged somehow so he can try to fix them, and, once he has done his 'job', he lets them go. That theory might also explain Wilson's friendship with House; even though the oncologist doesn't believe it is true.
History:
James Wilson was brought up on a Jewish household, along with his two brothers. He has an undergraduate degree from McGill University, and higher degrees from Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania. He has a great history of broken marriages: Wilson has three ex-wives, Jane, Bonnie and Julie. He started working at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital as soon as his application was accepted, and being very competent, he ascended positions and ended up as head of the oncology department.
Since the beginning of his career at PPTH, Wilson has developed a strange kind of friendship with the most unlikely person: Dr. Gregory House. He has lost touch with his siblings and the rest of his family because of his busy schedule as an oncologist.
[Okay, so, I didn't really know if I should include the following part, because I don't know if it is part of the site plot, but I decided to put it up anyway]
After many years working at PPTH and having three ex-wives, Wilson had finally seemed to build a decent relationship with a woman, who turned up to be Amber Volakis, a previous member of House's team. However, when things were starting to get serious, Amber dyed when she went pick drunk House up by bus. The bus accident wasn't the real cause of her death, that being some flu pills, but it certainly helped a little.
