Anything Else?: Has an undergraduate degree at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and higher degrees from Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania.
Appearance:
Shirt with rolled up sleeves, tie, doctor's coat, leather shoes. Those are things to describe what Wilson mostly wears.
Wilson is not too tall, but he is very well built for his size.
He has Dark brownish hair, usually/always neatly combed. He also has brown eyes, with maybe flecks of other colors. Is usually seen wearing the traditional doctor's coat, with pleated pants. He almost always has leather shoes, and does sometimes wear a v neck vest. The vest is pink in color, and is usually worn with a light pink shirt.
Always/most of the time wears a blouse.(dunno what the men version is called...) The sleeves are sometimes rolled up, sometimes not. The shirt is accompanied by a tie, usually dark in color, and with cool designs. When he wears the v neck vest, he usually has his white doctor's coat on. He has a sweatshirt from his college that he sometimes wears too.
Has a cool hair do, which kind of curls at the front. His skin is a bit tan, as well. His hair normally is a bit wavy at the sides, and is darker near the bottom. Always carries a pen with him as well. He wears dark long sleeve shirts to work out in.
Personality:
James is much of a worrywart. That probably comes from maybe what his childhood was like, conflict, confusion, etc. He is friendly, caring, optimistic, and just in general a nice guy. He tags along mostly with House, and is often referred to as House's conscience, since he attempts to lecture House every chance he gets. He has trouble staying in relationships, and has divorced 3 times. He seems to be a middle child, the one who always 'negotiated' his way through family issues, which is largely how he approaches his work. He puts others' feelings and needs ahead of his own, which satisfies him on one level, but does not meet his own needs.
Wilson is forced to deal with death every day, since he is the head of oncology, and he's also a doctor. Over time, he's learned to deal with it, and got used to it partially. From House's words, he said ' Wilson is a man who gets people to say "Thank You" when he tells him they are dying.'
Wilson is an extremely loyal friend, and always sticks by House's side, maybe not when House is doing stupid things though. He even risked his job to stand up for House when Vogler wanted to fire House. He also seems to put everyone else above himself, and doesn't tend to do the opposite.
History:
James was raised in a Jewish household, with two other brothers, one that he hasn't seen in 9 years. It seems that his childhood wasn't amazing. He might have come from a family where there was conflict, absence and loss, which made it difficult for him to understand what 'normal' is in a family. He has an undergraduate degree from McGill University, and higher degrees from Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania. Wilson has three ex-wives, Jane, Bonnie and Julie. He started working at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, and became the Head of Oncology after many years.
He became friends with Gregory House, which was unlikely. House did bail Wilson out of jail when he was arrested for getting into a bar fight. He even set him up with an attorney to clear his name. One of his brothers is homeless, and James doesn't even know if he's alive or dead. He hasn't seen him for the past 9 years.
After some time, he met Amber Volakis, one of House's former team members. Things started to get serious soon enough, and a bit tricky. Tricky, because she died. She was following House, and was suspicious. She went on the bus he boarded, and the bus was hit by some kind of vehicle. She would've survived, but she had flu drugs in her system.
Role Play Sample: [From a His Dark Materials RP site. I play Lee Scoresby >3< ]
Ugh, what a day. It had been hard work to keep it up, too. Lee and Hester weren't very energetic this evening, just barely making it to the Tavern for a drink. Hester was sitting on Lee's lap for the time being, as he sipped at his glass of alcohol. He sighed, and ran a hand through his silver-white hair. Hester nudged him, and forced him to look down to her.
Lee, come on. We'll do better tomorrow, I swear on it!
Lee smiled as his daemon attempted to cheer him up. His spirits were raised a little bit more than they were earlier. That's progress when you look at it from afar. All he needed right now was to talk to someone. Anyone, really. Maybe an old friend. He couldn't really talk to Samin at this point, being a little embarrassed about when they met again. He didn't think Richard knew it was an accident. He was honorable, he knew in his mind.
I guess you may be right Hester, but I need something else to cheer me up... Not like a family reunion, but like a friendly reunion. Someone that's been close, that I haven't seen in forever...
Lee, come on. You HAVE to cheer up sometime... It's not like your old best friend is going to waltz in here and recognize you.
What old best friend?
Well, good point there, Lee.
Lee took another sip of the alcohol. He knew most of his best friends were back in Texas, where he aspired to retire, on a ranch with a cigarette.
