Cameron had been busy today, when she thought she could breath, it never happened. She had six trauma's and House? she had no idea, he was off doing his own thing that he does. She was thinking about Chase, she missed seeing him, however. She would never admit it, after everything settled a bit she grabbed a coffee and headed over to the room they used as a diagnoses and other meetings. Sitting back she closed her eyes, relaxing best way she knew how. Sipping the warm coffee that was in her cup she relaxed even more. A smile formed.
When she was more awake she covered her mouth as she yawned, she didn't know how much time she would have like this. Tho she hoped someone would want to talk to her, or to need her for something. She looked down on the table, seeing files of patients, she sat back down and put the cup away from the files. She saw a patient that had been in and out of hospitals, she noticed the woman was being seen by Chase. Looking up she wondered, using her beeper she got a message to Chase, saying she knew a patient of his. She sighed and waited.

It had been a very busy morning. Some big car crash or something, he was to over worked to know exactly what. With the amount of patients at his feet he would see it on the news that night anyway. Most went to the ER then were past off down to surgery were he, and others, would take them and do as much work as they could. It was odd to think how Cameron's and his job connected that way. Then there was the normal flow of patients that needed surgery. His job wasn't boring in the least. After performing his third surgery trying to fix broken muscle and organs he was ready die.
It was then that his pager went off. At first he was confused. Why would some one be paging him now. Then when he say who it was from he lite up. It was Cameron. It said that she knew one of his patients. He really did love her, and hoped that she felt the same about him, but he was still unsure. Deciding quickly that instead of just calling or something he was going to take his break then and go see her. Chances were she was in the lounge. Sure it was pressing, but any chance to see the woman he loved he would take it. He really missed working side by side with her.
Entering the doctor's lounge he say he at the table with a file. He smiled widely at the first site of her. Walking the short distance to her he bent down and kissed her on the check from behind. "Hey." He said after and moved to where he could see her face and sat next to her. "How are you. You look tired." He was worried that she was being over worked, but then he was one to talk, he most likely looked worse then she did.

Hearing the door open, she turned seeing it was Chase. She smiled as he kissed her cheek. "Your charm is something else" She laughed some. "Not that im complain, I need charm now." She stood up and kissed his cheek, when he was around him, she was shy. She didn't know why, she was the one person to attack situations. But this, was new to her, she had never really had much experience with men. She is a widow and it terrified her. Looking into his eyes, he certainly was gorgeous. His accent made her even more attracted to him.
"Honestly? Im tired, I managed to sleep a couple hours at least." She sighed a bit. "Im going to be fine, I noticed you are taking care of Mr. Lee, he has come here before, he has a bad heart, taking meds for high blood pressure. He had a tumor removed on his brain, so he is a little on edge. What have you done for him? I know he has one more problem, chronic migraines, I hope he isn't in a lot of pain, being a seventy he is a very nice guy, no one deserves to be in pain." Crossing her arms she sighed.

It was cute how shy Cameron was around him. It was kind of nerve racking though, also. He already had doubts about the way she felt about him and this wasn't helping. If you were deeply in love with some one wouldn't you forget what other people thought about it? He wasn't really sure. She wasn't really that normal in this kind of thing. She was a widow and had lost one true love already. It had to be hard to jump back on the horse, though he knew he wasn't her first boy-friend since her husband's death. After all she had chased House for a while. But he was one of the first major boy-friends she was had since then.
Mr. Lee. He had been the first person Chase had operated on that morning. It was normal for Allison to care so much about a random patient but he kind of wished she wouldn't. It wasn't going to make the story any easier. "Yeah. I operated on him earlier. Brain sergry.... After a MRI we noticed that the tumor was back. I removed it, but I don't think he is going to live much longer. His blood pressure is through the ruff.. The honestly might be something wrong with him other than cancer. Maybe we should send him to House." The last part was mainly a joke. He was trying to lighten the mood a little. "What kept you up last night." He asked randomly. It was like a conversation they would have when on House's team. Trying to diagnose a patient and having a personal conversation at the same time.

She couldn't help but listen to how he spoke, he was careful with how he talked, she bounced around, she didn't know what she wanted. She just knew she wanted to be happy. House, she liked but he was immature in some ways. What kept her up? he had asked her. She could lie, say her mind was thinking on a patient. But Chase would figure that out, he is a brilliant man.
"Yeah throw him to House" She laughed. House was one hell of a doctor, but there was something he lacked. Which was why she gave up on him. He saw her as only another doctor, he made that clear when they went on a "Date" he didn't even like her.
"Ive...been thinking about you a lot Chase, ive seen the way you look at me. I two feel the same. Im just afraid to lose you, you mean a lot to me Chase. " She looked down unable to look at him. Rubbing her neck and looked back up, looking into his eyes "Im afraid, afraid to love you"
She felt her heart beating faster, he knew how to make her feel good. But what will happen to them.

Chase laughed slightly as she agreed to through him at House. It wasn't really that funny to most people, but it was funny to the people that knew him the best. And sadly one of them was Chase. He had worked with House the longest, only by a little but still. It was really amazing how long the two were able to stand each other. House was a total jerk to Chase, more then the other, at least until he decided that he had been kissing up to him for to long and stood up from himself. That eventually got him fired. Not so much as the fight he had with House, but that was one of the things he really had to learn from House, and after learning it he grow more and thus didn't need the brilliant doctor any more.
Chase really hadn't expected to get much of an answer from Cameron. Sure he wanted one, but it was her life. The answer itself surprised him even more. He looked straight into her brilliant eyes and putting his hands lightly on each side of her face he said, "You don't need to worry! I'm not going any where. I will wait on you for ever. I don't want to push you into anything your not ready for!" What he said was true. She was his true love for as much as he could tell and even if she broke up with him he would wait for her. But if it turned out she didn't love him, then you would except that and let her get on with her life. All he wanted was for her to be happy. "I love you. And I always will. And if you can't love me, then I will deal with it."

She loved his laugh, it made her smile, he knew how to do it. That was for sure. When he admitted he was in love with her. Her heart was in her throat, she let it sink in, before his hand went to her face. She sighed silently, she couldn't spend the rest of her life like this. She loved him, if she didn't show it, he would go to someone else. She placed her hand on his cheek. Looking into his eyes, he was handsome, very sweet. Sure he had his Little quirks, but hell everyone has them. She got close to him, she could feel his breath on her, warm and sweet. It fit his personally that was for sure
Cam has to do it, she knew her husband would want her to move on, even tho it was long ago. She felt like she would betray his memory. But as long as she kept on living, once a person in one's life is dead, the memory of the person would be gone forever. She had her moments, she was a strange one. But Chase loved her, no matter what she thought.
"I love you to Chase, very much, and I know . I cannot keep this up. You make me happy. I love you very much" she said, a kind smile on her face.

Chase smile, breaking his serous face. Cameron was just so sweet and innocent. Hearing the long needed words felt good. So he had been worried all that time for nothing. She really didn't feel the same way about him as he did her. If he had the guts he would have knelled down and proposed to her right then and there. But he knew that just because she loved him it didn't mean that she was ready. She still needed time, and he was okay with that. As long as she would be there waiting for him at the end of the tune, he was fine with anything.
"I love you too. And I had no doubt that he didn't love me back... even when you denied it every Thursday." He laughed slightly at the memory. "I just didn't know it you liked me as much as I liked you. I'll be here for you, always. No worry." A half smile crossed his face. It was a serous moment, but he could stay hard-core long while he was around her. Not like these. Slowly, like he didn't want to scare her way, he leaned in and kissed her on the mouth. He didn't care who saw them. House could walk in right then and he wouldn't care. He was with the girl he loved and that was all that mattered.

"thank you Chase, thank you for loving me" She looked into his eyes, before she could say anything else she felt his lips on hers, she placed her hands on his shoulders. She hadn't kissed someone like this. When her husband was alive, she kissed him the way she kissed Chase. It had been so long before she kissed a man such as Chase. She was grateful. She wrapped her arms around him, she didn't want to let him go, and she never would.
"I love you so much"

Chase dissolved into the kiss. It was so wonderful and perfect. He never thought he had kissed anyone with such passion and care. His life was coming together. The puzzle was finally being finished. He pulled himself away from the kiss to hear Allison mutter the words that he always wanted to hear. He hadn't knew he wanted it from Cameron, but he had known he wanted them. "I love you so much." A small smile crossed his face as he pushed the same thing out through the newly formed lump in his throat. "I love you, Too, Cameron." he could have swore there was a tear in his eye, but he wasn't sure why. Why was this so hard? Why was he so happy he was crying? It didn't make sense? But as he had been taught with House, Love wasn't rational.
He never wanted this moment to stop. He wanted to sit across from Cameron and kiss her and feel the warmth and the happiness the rest of his life. Chase know, though, that it would be interrupted soon, though. That was their lives. Busy busy busy. He was surprised the moment had last as long as it had. Soon one of their beepers would go off, or someone would come in. Things like this couldn't last that long. It was surprising when you got five minutes to yourself.
That faithful moment came not but a second later with the beeping of Cameron's beeper. At the sound Chase jumped slightly. The small smiled disappeared at the thought of them going their separate ways, but he thought of something. Before she even looked at it, he stood and said, "I'll go with you." He would rather head down to the ER and take care of people their then spend the rest of his break sitting alone.

The look on chases face was flattering. He had wanted this for a long time. At first she didn't like him, but the more ive been around him, he is a sweet guy. Looking into his eyes. She saw just smiled, a moment they would have. Dating would be a bit rough. "I know we both are busy, but we will find a way to actually date." She ran her fingers in his hair.
"Because of you, I can be with someone, I was afraid id die alone. And that is what scares me to do, that and being barried alive." she sighed a bit. She thought about her husband. She remembered she had a pendent her first husband gave her. She removed it, looking at the pendent, she went into her bag in her locker she stood before it.
"Ive spent my life in the shadows she was angry at everyone. I never forgave myself. She wished she could have done something. But I cannot live like this, I know you would want me to be with Chase." She kissed the pendent and put it in her bag, in a part of her bag that's locked. She locked her locker and smiled. Slowly she went to his side.
She heard her beeper as well, she looked at it. When she heard what Chase, she almost drooped her pager. She couldn't help she stroked his cheek, looking into his eyes for a moment, one moment felt like it was her whole life. "House wants us, I wonder what kind of attitude he was in." She kissed him just once more, with that she opened the door.
She was tired, everyone has done there share. But unfortunately they had to do there work. She was trying to be a more nice person. She fights with House all the time, she shook her head.
"Well lets go see what House wants....again" She smiled and kissed him "Thank you for loving me Chase." She said ready to follow Chase

Chase watched Cameron with curious eyes. He hadn't known she was afraid of being buried alive. No one wanted to die alone, not even House, but being buried alive? Where did she get that. He dismissed it though. He had a few fears, but for some reason he couldn't get his mouth to work. He just listened to Cameron talk. Listened to her sweet, dove like voice. He was lost in it, half didn't know what she was saying. Then she took the necklace off. He had noticed it, and half wondered what it was, and half knew. The only thing she would hold on to like that would have been something that was given to her by someone that really loved her. It had to have been given by her late husband. She had never said anything, and he had never asked. It was something that he would rather let her keep for herself. He didn't hear what she was saying when at the locker, but he knew that she was finally giving up her husband and moving on.
When Cameron announced that it was House that had paged he was taken a back. "What does he want?" He asked, the confusion easy to hear in his voice. Even though they weren't on his team, he seemed to need them just as much. Deep down Chase liked that, he had never really wanted to leave the diagnostic Field. But like Cameron, he couldn't stand House's child like attitude. He sighed and kissed her back. "Might as well...." He muttered half to himself then taking her hand started out of the room.
((ooc: So where are we going? Should I just make another thread labeled for you and House? Or is this his/her idea or something.... ))

She was content, looking at Chase she smiled "Oh you know House, he acts like such a jerk and very much like a child" She laughed some" She sighed a bit. "We better get going, other wise he may do another stupid thing and over dosing on his pain killers" She smirked. "You know, this will probably make me sound stupid..but..I kind of feel sorry for him. Watching how my husband died, he was in great pain. No one deserves the pain, but you can't feel to sorry. He could have gone to a pain clinic, but oh no...he wants to keep the narcotics" She sighed.
"Oh sorry" She laughed "We need to go" She looked at him "Ok back to formal mode" She said with a grin. She headed for the door but stopped. "You know chase, im content because of you I can move on" She said as she walked thru the door and headed to houses office.
(End)
(I will pm you)
