Tis the season to be jolly! Or, maybe a Scrooge if you're not into the holiday spirit. Once December began, the holiday spirit flooded into Princeton and brought everyone with it. The city itself has become more than festive by throwing wreaths on every street light and strings of lights onto almost every storefront. Several of the evergreens at the park were attacked with the fever and now sport cheap lights of their own. In fact, East Memorial Jogging Park has added another activity to their list of things to do, at least for the season. Through the magic of technology and mother nature, they have managed to freeze over the pond, making it solid enough to support any willing ice skater. Carolers have also been spotted around town, so keep those ears open!
Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital has even been effected by the yule tide season. Various little decorations have appeared on the front desk and the desks of other doctors. (Excluding Doctor House, of course) A few lights here and a little garland there, and maybe even a bit of mistletoe in the lobby (Ho ho ho.) makes for a festive sight. Also, the annual Christmas party for the doctors, nurses, and their families is coming around. The event is semi-formal and food and drinks will be offered.
Happy holidays!
